About JB Core Solutions

JB Core Solutions was founded in 2011 by Greg Bennett, then a staff accountant and IT manager at a Hilton Head Island CPA firm. In the course of working with firm clients and technology service providers, Greg realized individuals and businesses had many of the same complaints and poor experiences that Greg had already encountered in utilizing existing technology providers in his position as IT manager. As such, never being one to just settle, JB Core Solutions was formed with the intention of offering clients of the CPA firm an alternative for their information technology needs.

Between 2011 and 2013, JB Core sustained a nice client base due to fair service fees and reliability. Greg never intended for JB Core to be his primary source of income, however, and in mid-2013, he ended up taking a job as the accounting and IT manager for a designer and distributor of fashion accessories. The demands of that position caused JB Core to go dormant until late 2014, when Greg resigned with the full intention of building JB Core Solutions into his sole source of income. In early 2015, Greg partnered with a CPA and JB Core Solutions went from being only an IT services provider to also a registered CPA firm, which lasted until December 2017 when Greg bought out the other individual. In January 2018, Greg removed JB Core’s registration as a CPA firm, and started Cornerstone CPA Solutions, LLC, his newly registered CPA firm.

The purpose behind splitting the business segments of JB Core Solutions into separate companies is based on Greg’s business growth and development strategies for each entity.

Greg resides on Hilton Head Island with his fiancé and dog. He focuses heavily on experiencing new things in life, including travel and occasionally far more adventurous things, such as skydiving from 18,000′. During the summer months, there are few weekends where he will not be found out on the local waters boating, visiting Daufuskie Island, and socializing at sandbars and other locations.
